Terms of service

Last updated 6 September 2026

In short: Use otoodo for lawful purposes, keep your password to yourself, and pay for Pro if you use Pro. We will keep the service running and your data yours, but we cannot promise perfection, and the plan it produces is advice rather than a guarantee.

1. Who you are contracting with

otoodo is operated by Oasis Digital, of Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 16, and give an email address you control.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your password to yourself and tell us promptly if you think it has been compromised.
  • One account is for one person. Pro lets you plan work for other people; it does not give those people their own logins, and sharing a single login between several people is not permitted.
  • You may close your account at any time from Settings. That deletes it and everything in it immediately.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use otoodo to:

  • break the law, or help anyone else to;
  • store or transmit malware, or anything designed to interfere with the service;
  • attempt to access another account, or any part of our systems you have not been given access to;
  • scrape, resell or redistribute the service, or use automated traffic beyond the API tokens we issue;
  • place load on the service that degrades it for other people.

We may suspend or close an account that does any of these, and will tell you why unless the law prevents us.

4. Your content is yours

Your tasks, projects, notes and schedule remain yours. You grant us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store that content, process it, back it up, and show it back to you. We do not sell it, we do not use it to advertise to you, and we do not use it to train machine-learning models.

You can export everything as JSON at any time, on any plan, from Settings. See the privacy policy for how we handle it.

5. Plans and payment

  • New accounts get a 14-day Pro trial. We do not ask for a card to start it, so there is nothing to cancel — it simply ends.
  • Pro is billed in advance, monthly or annually, through Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
  • Prices are shown excluding VAT and sales tax; Stripe adds those at checkout based on your billing address.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time from the billing page — you keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • If a payment fails, Pro stays on while Stripe retries. If it is still unpaid after those retries, the account moves to the free plan. Nothing is deleted.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. A change never affects a period you have already paid for.

Refunds are covered by our refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

6. What we promise, and what we don't

We will make reasonable efforts to keep otoodo available and to keep your data safe and backed up. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may need to take it down for maintenance.

The plan otoodo produces is arithmetic on the numbers you give it, not professional advice. It cannot know whether an estimate is right. Decisions you take on the strength of it — committing to a deadline, promising a client a date, hiring — are yours.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, we are not liable for lost profits, lost business, lost opportunity, or for missed deadlines; and our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.

8. Ending it

You can close your account whenever you like. We may close or suspend yours if you breach these terms, or if we stop offering the service — in which case we will give you at least 30 days’ notice and a refund of any period paid for and not used, and you will be able to export your data throughout.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. Carrying on using otoodo after that date means you accept the new terms; if you would rather not, close your account and we will refund any unused paid period.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction — except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere, nothing here removes rights you have under the mandatory law of the country you live in.
